Update

The picture is becoming clearer on the offensive line as fall camp continues.  John Theus is in the best shape of his college career and he is playing with renewed confidence which will be needed as he is going to face an early season test against Vic Beasley.  Joining him on the left side will either be Kublanow or Wynn who is having an incredible camp for a true freshmen.  David Andrews is the clear leader of the offensive line and is going to be invaluable as he enters his senior season.  As I said before spring practice I was expecting big things out of Greg Pyke and he did not disappoint in spring practice and he certainly has not disappointed this fall.  His starting position may be the strongest on this offensive line outside of Andrews at center.  At RT there is an intense battle developing between Kolton Houston and Watts Dantzler who is coming on very strong and wants to play as a senior.

Perspective

This is the deepest offensive line the Bulldogs have had in Athens in many years.  There may not be many big names but there are a bunch of guys who have played meaningful snaps in Athens and even more importantly many of them are now grown men.  Guys like Theus, Houston, Andrews, Beard, Dantzler, and Pyke have all been in Athens for 3+ years and are physically/mentally mature.  These are the types of offensive lines, despite the lack of big names, that you often see put together great seasons and lead their teams to great things.  If this offensive line can reach the level of belief that Coach Richt, Bobo and Friend have in them then this unit could be a leading force in a special season for Todd Gurley and the rest of this Bulldog team.
